Solution

Step 1:   Open Thunderbird. On the top menu bar, click "Tools", then select "Account Settings".

Step 2:   Click "Server Settings" for the email account you wish to configure with Gafana.

Step 3:   Make a note of the Server Name and Username as it will be needed to add this account to Gafana in step 5.  Change the Server Name with: mail.gafana.com It is also recommended that you configure your SMTP server to mail.gafana.com as well. This way, when you send emails to people, they will automatically be added to your verified list so when they reply, they do not have to verify themselves. Please note that Gafana requires authentication for outgoing SMTP. Please enable authentication for SMTP on your mail client and set the username and password to your Gafana username and password.

Step 4:   Replace the User Name and Password with your Gafana.com Username and Password. Click "Ok" and then you can close Thunderbird

Step 5:   Login to your Gafana.com web account and go to the "Profile" tab. Click on the "Add POP3 Account" and then enter all the information that was noted from earlier. That's it!
